Men's Ministry Director

Our Men's Ministry aims to cultivate Godly men through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. To us, being a Godly man means being a faithful husband, a loving father, a supporter of our pastors, a man of compassion, and an effective servant of Jesus. This commitment is part of our broader mission that also includes support from our Heart of Jesus Food Ministry and collaboration with the M-Pact Girls Ministry.

How We Work Towards Fulfilling Our Goals

We accomplish our objectives by adhering to four basic principles:

- We are to honor God with our lives. (John 5:23)

- We are to honor our families. (Matthew 15:4)

- We are to honor those in need. (1 Timothy 5:3)

- We are to honor those in authority over us. (1 Peter 2:17)

We meet regularly on the third Saturday of each month, either at 9:00 a.m. at the church for a free breakfast, fellowship, and Bible teaching, or at 8:00 a.m. at Trankis Restaurant, where everyone can order off the menu and handle their own meal. These gatherings not only strengthen our Men's Ministry but also integrate the teachings we share in our Sunday School and Women's Ministry.

Sometimes, we may alter our meeting date to engage in special events or gatherings that we want to support.

Women's Ministry Director

This is a time for the ladies to come together in the Women’s Ministry, open the word of God, pray, and support each other to help find answers to the situations many are facing today.

In addition to their spiritual growth, they also make various crafts that are sold to raise funds for mission outreaches, including the Heart of Jesus Food Ministry, and other projects through the Assemblies of God that impact local communities, our nation, and many countries across the globe.

100% of the money raised from their fundraisers goes to these projects and missionaries.

For more information, call the church to speak with Kimberly Crawford, or join them any Thursday morning at 9 a.m., except on holidays. You’re also welcome to participate in Sunday School and learn about opportunities in the Men's Ministry or M-Pact Girls Ministry.

We currently offer 4 Sunday School classes each week from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Enjoy coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate as you connect with others. 

The Adult Class, part of our Women's Ministry, meets in our Fellowship Hall and is led by Judy Allen. 

For children ages 5-14, our Kids Class meets in Rooms 3 & 4, led by Gail Duncan and Lynette Standridge, fostering a fun learning environment. 

Additionally, we have a New Converts Class led by Pastor Sandy Pruitt, specifically for those who are newly saved and beginning their walk with Jesus. This class, which also serves as a refresher course, meets in Room 5. Don't forget to check out our Heart of Jesus Food Ministry and Men's Ministry programs as well as the M-Pact Girls Ministry for more community engagement.

Gail Duncan: M-Pact Girls Ministry Director

M-Pact Girls Ministry is a vital initiative aimed at reaching girls ages 4-14. This program helps them foster a mindset of Christ through engaging biblical activities while also developing life skills, character, and confidence. Additionally, it focuses on how to contribute to their community in a Christ-like manner.

Gail Duncan oversees the Prims for ages 4-9, while Joy Burris leads the Stars for ages 10-14. They gather for instruction in Rooms 3 & 4.

For further details, we invite you to visit the church on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. to meet Gail Duncan, our dedicated M-Pact Girls Ministry director.

The Heart of Jesus Food Ministry serves as our church's commitment to addressing the needs of the homeless and those struggling to make ends meet in our community. Each month, this ministry provides a free hot meal on the 4th Thursday, held in our Fireside Room, accessible through the alley at the back of the church. 

Please note that the date for the 4th Thursday may shift due to holidays and special events, but we will endeavor to keep everyone informed about any changes as they arise. 

In November and December, the Heart of Jesus Food Ministry will shift the meal to the 3rd Thursday to accommodate the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. 

Joy Burris and Juanita Patterson lead this ministry, and it complements our broader church efforts, including the Men's Ministry, M-Pact Girls Ministry, Sunday School, and Women's Ministry.
