Rick Standridge
Men's Ministry Director
Our Men’s Ministries has a goal to help grow Godly men through the Holy Spirit. To us, Godly men means to be faithful husbands, loving fathers, supporters of our pastors, men of compassion, and effective servants of Jesus.
How We Work Towards Fulfilling Our Goals
Our goal will be accomplished through the ongoing teaching and submission to four basic principles:
1 Peter 2:17
We meet regularly on the third Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. for a free breakfast, fellowship and bible teaching. Sometimes we will change our meeting date if there are special events or gatherings we want to be a part of.
The breakfast is free, but the fellowship with other men is priceless. A free will offering will be available for those that would like to help cover the expense of the meal, but not required to come and be a part of what we're doing. We also use this time to do some of the work needed on our buildings and property.
Remember to check our calendar regularly in case the monthly meeting had to change for that month.
Kimberly Crawford
Women's Ministry Director
This is a time for the ladies to come and open the word of God, pray, and support each other to help find answers to the situations many are facing today.
They also make various crafts that are sold to raise funds for the various mission outreaches and projects through the Assemblies of God that reach local, national as well as many countries all over the world.
100% of the money raised from their fund raisers goes to these projects and missionaries.
For more information, call the church and speak to Kimberly Crawford, or come by any Thursday morning, except holidays, and join them at 9 a.m.
Remember to check our calendar regularly in case the monthly meeting had to change for that month.

Connect 559 is a presence driven ministry for youth ages 13-19 that strives to connect today's youth to God, community and people. Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.
In Room 7, we have our Connect Group, which gives teens a chance to discuss various topics that directly relate to them and grow from one another while observing what God has to say about the matter from His word.
Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. we have our Connect 559 service where students are given the opportunity to worship and connect to God.
The Heart of Jesus food ministry is our way as a church to help with the needs of the homeless and those hurting to just make ends meet in our community. We offer a free hot meal on the 4th Thursday of each month in our Fireside Room that can be accessed through the alley in the back of the church.
The 4th Thursday of the month may change due to holidays and special events. But we will do our best to notify everyone about those changes as they occur.
This particularly applies to Thanksgiving and Christmas, which means we will have the monthly meeting on the third Thursday of those months.
The ministry is headed up by Joy Burris and Juanita Patterson.
Remember to check our calendar regularly in case the monthly meeting had to change for that month.
